Yorkshire Air Museum

Objectives
As an award winning tourist destination, Yorkshire Air Museum has gone from strength to strength in recent years.  National coverage of this fantastic attraction could be improved, so they brought us in to help raise their profile in the national media.  In addition, the Museum is keen to promote its business tourism opportunities and raise its standing as a great venue for hospitality.  Kendra PR is retained by the Museum and has worked with the team for over a year. 

PR Activity
To raise the profile of YAM regionally, and more importantly nationally, we started by concentrating on three key stories: Battle of Britain, Amy Johnson and the Love Story Archive.  We manage the PR for The French in York Week which includes providing incentives to attract TV, radio, as well as paper and online media.   We recognise a good story when we see it, and the team at the Museum have a raft of material that the press love.  We work to ensure that the press know about these stories and that they have the right information to provide editorial to benefit the Museum.
